Enrollment - Online ABA Recognized Law Degree USA Accredited TJSL Program

LL.M. & J.S.M. Registration for Semester Courses - Annual Minimum

Registration is the formal written procedure that represents both an academic and financial commitment. To be officially enrolled at the law school, students must complete the financial part of registration before each semester’s courses begin. The actual process of registering is performed online by the student approximately one month before a semester begins. Registration after this period will have a late fee applied. All prior balances must be cleared before students are permitted to register for a current term. Accessing a course and course materials neither constitutes course registration nor good standing.

A student may elect to take any number of courses each semester (including one). However, each course is only offered once a year, at most. In order to be considered an active student, a student must be enrolled in three courses every year. An inactive student may, at the discretion of the admission committee, seek re-activation by payment of a re-activation fee and submission of a letter of time frame of courses to be enrolled in.

Once a course has been enrolled in, the only method for receiving a refund is through the formal written procedural process of dropping within the stated time limit of ADD/DROP within five business days of the first day of a course. Not accessing a course does not constitute dropping a course.

Each student should plan a curriculum estimate upon acceptance. Each course is guaranteed to be offered only once every two years. However, a course may be offered each year, subject to sufficient enrollment. A course that is not offered one year will be offered the following year.

Students who want to continue to access the library and not have their Westlaw, Lexis, other databases and student id/email suspended during semesters of non-enrollment may pay a continuation fee of $500 each semester to continue to have such access.

J.S.D. Program

Upon admission, the J.S.D. candidate has to annually enroll in a J.S.D thesis course for a minimum of three (3) years, and a maximum of four (4) years. Failure to enroll in this annual course before the completion of the program will be deemed a resignation from the J.S.D. program. Once such a resignation has occurred, the candidate may reapply for admission, which will be decided upon by the J.S.D. admissions committee with or without credit for previous semesters.
